Ask most roasters how they found their key relationships — the supplier they trust, the wholesale accounts that pay the bills, the people they call when something breaks — and the honest answer is usually some version of luck. A name passed along. A chance meeting at a trade event. A connection that took years to surface and might just as easily never have happened.
That's the problem discovery solves. The chain around you is denser than you think. The issue was never that the right people weren't there — it's that there was no way to see them.
